The days have passed rather fast these few days.. Attended bible study lesson 1 yesterday.. :) Thank God when i reached back home, during my quiet time, i got a good revelation from God. :)
Proverbs 3:5


"Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding."


Ok, why this verse is meaningful to me? Because, many of my friends whom i tried to reach out to again and again, they always gave me many reasons why they dont want to come church.
Firstly, some backsliders will say that, "Oh, my church is too big. Very impersonal. Your church is even bigger! So if i go church got go like never go like that, i don't feel belonged ah." Well. You need to see the truth. If the church is impersonal, it won't be able to grow large. This also links back to yesterday's bs lesson 1. =) This is many people's mind looking at one side of the picture.
Secondly, some people will say, "Church is just an organisation that helps those people who don't have good life or anti-social people so that they go there they will kanna psycho and become a better person. I am good enough and i got many friends liao so i don't want go there waste time ah. " Hmm, interesting. You also mean that church is a good place to go to? Yes, i appreciate that. But you if you say it's a waste of time, i won't agree. From what i experience so far, i believe that church is not just a place where you can calm your mind and mix around and know some really nice friends. It's a place whereby you find the true God, the God who is alive, the place whereby salvations are poured upon this world. It's not just a place where you can spend your time around because you don't have any other things on, a leisure place for you to come, but it's a place whereby you seek God and have that relationship with Him. A heavenly Father, an unlimited blessings giver. Someone who you life your burden upon Him and He is going to take it away from you in exchange for your love and faith in Him. He loves His children. He is a good sheperd. If there is a hundred lambs out there, and one wandered off, God will leave the 99 lambs which are properly fine and alright and go and look for the one lamb which is lost.
This shows how important every soul in His eyes is important. The love of a heavenly Father. :)

Thirdly, in this worldly world, there are meant to be obstacles, be it you are a true believer or not. Life is like that. But the difference between a child of God and a wondering soul, the obstacles that the child of God face, he or she will eventually get over with it, through the love of God and His total guidance. No matter what life has for me, as long as i believe God is there, God is just allowing me to go through a test in life, i will be able to overcome it. :) So you can't say that even if you become a Christian, it will be no different from any other ones. There is a difference. In the spirit and in truth. Just that you need to experience it yourself. The step of faith which you take will lead you to a higher level of understanding from God.


There is a lot of excuses people may give. But i think i shouldn't give up on them. They are only believing things according to their own thinking, their own understanding. It's time that they need. :) I believe i should really cling on to God's will. I pray along to God's will, that is faith. :) A prayer of faith will allow the salvations to enter the kingdom of God. :) God has it's timing for everything. So, i pray that i pray, i will be able to serve God in anyway i can. Glorify Him is what i want.
